You have the creative ideas. You have a story. You have your phone. The things that are missing, are accessories needed to start filming. Here are 5 basic accessories to kick start your Mobile Film Making Journey!
1. Smartphone Gimbals
Unlike the year 2000, smartphones have the capability to shoot high quality videos and resolutions up to 4K. The only extra thing to make it look professional, is to keep it stabilized.

2. Microphones
As previously mentioned, microphones are an essential tool for a professional video/film. If you were to use the smartphone's built-in microphone instead of purchasing an individual microphone, you might record unnecessary sound in the background.

Having a microphone plugged in would focus the recordings on the person being filmed, giving a clearer and define audio. However, if the location is too noisy, you can re-record the dialogues after shooting the scenes.

Every camera has its limit and smartphone cameras are not an exception. By having multiple lenses, you can extend the abilities of a smartphone camera.

Lighting is an essential aspect of filming. It is a necessity to be well equipped with lighting accessories for dark environments as shooting in dark environments will produce grainy and low-quality footage.

However, do take note that the auto-exposure on mobile phones are typically slow to adjust, especially for scenes with different levels of light exposure.
